All submissions undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure academic quality, originality, integrity, and relevance.

Publication Policies

Submission Policy

Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format. The manuscript must not have been previously published or be under consideration by another journal. Upon receipt of submission, the Editorial Office will send an email confirmation to the corresponding author within 1–3 working days.

Plagiarism Policy

AJSSH maintains a strict policy against plagiarism and self-plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism-detection software before being sent for peer review. Manuscripts containing plagiarism will be rejected.

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts undergo editorial screening followed by peer review. The review process normally takes 3–5 weeks. Authors will be notified of the review decision by email.

Online Publication

Accepted articles are published online in PDF and HTML formats and are freely available on the journal website. The journal aims to publish accepted articles online within three weeks of final acceptance.

Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain copyright of their published articles while granting the journal the right of first publication. Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License, which allows others to use, share, adapt, and distribute the work with proper citation of the original source.

Open Access Policy

AJSSH follows the Gold Open Access publishing model. All published articles are immediately and permanently available online without subscription barriers.

Archiving Policy

The journal supports long-term preservation and accessibility of scholarly content. Authors may archive pre-print, post-print, and publisher’s PDF versions without restriction.

Digital Object Identifier

Each article published in the American Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to ensure permanent identification, citation tracking, and online discoverability.

Article Processing Charges

There is no fee for manuscript submission. However, upon acceptance, an Article Processing Charge of USD 150 is payable by the corresponding author. Authors from developing countries who face financial difficulties may apply for a waiver.
